Maximize You Profits With Forex Pips

By Bart Icles

Forex is a good way of supplementing your current income, while still maintaining your present work. So it is really important that you familiarize yourself with its terminologies to make you better understand the many events and happenings in the market. One of the most important things you will come across is the term Forex pips.

Now you may ask, what are Forex pips? A PIP is the acronym for the term Percentage In Point. To put it in simple terms, a pip is the least or smallest price increment in Forex Trading. Most currency pairs are priced to its 4th decimal place - with the exception of the Japanese Yen with a pip equal to its 2nd decimal point, or .01 yen. The pip equivalent of a $ 1 is 0.0001 ( or 1/100th of a cent). A pip is how Forex currency traders measure gains or losses.

A major currency pair between a EUR/USD might be bid at 1.1600 and offered at 1.1605, the spread difference or your profit would be 5 pips. The currency market trades in pips to simplify matters, such as when major Forex traders like central banks that trade in the hundreds of millions of dollars, the value for each 0.0001 would be worth thousands of dollars.

To be successful in Forex trading, you need to maximize your pips as much as possible with having more pip gains than pip losses. Although, its not possible to win all the time, its advisable to have better spreads in your long term trading. So its best to buy currency when it is at its lowest value, and then sell it once determining factors point it at its peak or highest value. But with the numerous and complicated factors affecting the rise and fall of currency values, its really easier said than done.

To keep maximizing pips to your advantage while also keeping risks in check, you might consider turning to Automatic Forex Robots to do the trading for you. These software's are always current and up to date with the day to day operation of the Forex market, and it operates in a 24/7 cycle. This gives you the luxury and freedom to do other important business or recreational activities you desire to do. The software can monitor, keep track, and react to market changes with a predetermined set of indicators, minus the emotional attachments associated with a person.

Its always a lot easier to maximize Forex pips, lessen losses, and manage risks with an automatic Forex software or robot. It's not only a profitable way of trading in the market, but also a lot simpler and easier. - 23221

The New Charles Ponzi of The 21 Century!

By William R. Wiedow Ph.D.

It seems true to say, Barnard Madoff is the new Charles Ponzi. Investors put much faith in Madoff and considering the current state of things in the fanancial markets, it is a real shame that this man could betray so many good investors! At this point Madoff Type Stock Scams have really impacted countless people around the globe.

What a insane lost of some 50 Billion Dollars! This from the same man who was the Chairman of the NASDAQ and a financier second none. Well he just admitted to mastering this Ponzi Stock Scam.

Wallstreet and Mainstreet have been ruined by this kind of corruption! So future stock investors be warned! Because this is a text book lesson and we must learn from these types of scams to avoid this terrible financial lost in our investing years to come.

You can think of Charles Ponzi in 1920 and Benard Madoff in 2009 and really what they did was the same thing. They both started an Illegal Pyramid to bilk later investors, I say later investors because even an illegal pyramid scheme makes great money for early investors. These early investors are used as unwitting salesman to sucker in later investors and the sales tool they use is their Ponzi/Madoff Easy Money!

Eventually Ponzi's entire edifice did collapse. This is precisely what happened when Bernard Madoff orchestrated this corrupt stock scheme. We can learn a few important lessons from this saga, and we had better do so if we want to avoid getting the wool pulled over our eyes again!

Diversification is the the one and only answer to these criminals because these Madoff Type Stock Scams only work with ignorant stock investors that do not diversify. It would seem to be a no-brainer for investors but the rule should be Don't Put Every Single Dollar of Your Assets in One Investment Just Because It Looks Really, Really Good! You may end up being very very sorry you did!

Looking back on Madoff and his years of paper trail scaming, it seem impossible that anyone in their right mind could fall for this con artist! The stock market went up some years and Madoff made investors money and the stock market went down some years and Madoff made investors money? it's just a Fantastical Investor Fantasy! Not to say you can't make money in Bull and Bear markets, but it takes real investor savvy the kind that Madoff did not have one iota of. He just had the con artist savvy to relieve people of their money.

First off, if you need help right now because you are a Madoff Victim you can go to: madoff-help.com You should not feel too bad about this, remember Madoff suckerd the best banks savvy brokers and professionals who should have avoided this guy like the plague! Common Sense tells all of us That You Are Taking A Risk When You Invest and on top that The SEC was next to useless in The Madoff Affair?

We just can't get away from the fact that we all get defrauded sometimes and for the individual investor it would be safer to stay away from risky Hedge Funds and stick with Mutual Funds, Bank CD's, Gold or Silver. This may not make you a smarter investor, but at worse you would have a better chance of retaining your investment captial. This year of 2009 being what it is you may just want to leave most of your cash in the bank. (c) 2009 William R. Wiedow Ph.D. - 23221

Trading In The Buff - Is It A Scam

By Mike Reed

Trading In The Buff is a new course developed by John Templeton. Its main focus is to teach people how to trade using solely price action techniques. It's main goal is to teach traders how to trade without indicators by just using basic price charts, just as bar charts. The name Trading In The Buff is based on this concept, otherwise known as "trading naked".

The course focuses on using price action to spot trends, counter trends, support & resistance, which can be used to predict solid entry positions and the ability to forecast future price movements. The course really focuses on original material, which is a bidg departure from most of the stuff that you get online. Unfortunately with much of the stuff being sold about forex trading, there does tend be some overlapping. As a matter of fact, sometimes it's just blatantly the same material over and over again.

Thankfully this is not the case with the Trading In The Buff Course. Quite frankly, everything that I was taught was completely new to me. You can really tell that John Templeton really took the time to create something all of his own, instead of just stealing some generic trading system. He really took his time to provide an in-depth analysis of price action, as he goes through the course with incredible detail. He wants to make sure that his customers really understand every point that he is trying to teach.

The material in Trading In The Buff is presented in steps. The way it works is you read each chapter in the book, and after you are done, there is a corresponding video which reaffirms what you have just learned in the chapter. It's also extremely unique in that you are able to understand the reasons why price action works. With most price action techniques that isn't the case. For example, look at traders who use candlestick formations. Most don't really understand the underlying reasons why those formations work. All they do is memorize them.

That isn't the case with Trading In The Buff. The course actually explains the underlying reasons the price action patterns work. It's also explained in a very simple manner so everybody can understand it. The keys are finding support and resistance, and then being able to follow the trend.

Another thing I like about the course is how simple it is. I find that many forex trading methods are almost purposely complicated. For example, take a look at Eliot Waves. On the other hand, though there are many trading methods that are so simple, it's almost insulting, like moving average crossovers. Trading In The Buff fall somewhere right in the middle. It's simple, but it also provide a lot of depth, which is a lot more than I can say for most courses.

Another trait that I enjoyed about the course is the excellent support I received. When I was first going over the course, there a concept in the course that I couldn't quite grasp. So I emailed support about it. I was expecting the usual 2-3 business days that you get from most companies. But amazingly, i got a response within hours, and eve more amazingly, I got a response from the actual creator of the course, John Templeton.

Finally, the course just works, and after all, isn't that all that matters? As a person who has traded indicators for most of his trading career, I never really delved that deep into technical analysis, but it's amazing what you can find by just looking at the price movement. All I really knew were the generic patterns that everybody else does, like head and shoulders, double tops, etc... But there is so much more to price action than that. It's really easy once you open your eyes to the possibilities. - 23221

Real Estate Investing

By Darryl Degenhardt

Once again, real estate investing is a hot topic. I'm sure you still remember how people suddenly want to give up their real estate investments for the last couple of years. But now, it seems that everybody is jumping back in. No wonder about that, now that a lot of real investing group, not to mention all the crazy buying, is done whirling. Indeed, the last two years were the worst for most people.

Yet, real estate investing is back on the upswing. Why do you ask? Because property values have dropped so low that the numbers make sense again. Housing prices in many cities and states have dropped 20%, 30%, 40% and even as high as 50% in some hard hit areas. This drop in price has made the homes more affordable. The government has also stepped in to help new home buyers purchase these homes. As well as discouraged "bad behavior" on the part of the speculators.

In this recession, how can one benefit from real estate investing? Let's do a bit of the math. If you can finance a $100,000 mortgage at 6%, your mortgage payment is somewhere in the $600 range. If you add property taxes and insurance, your monthly outlay would probably be around $750. Now, assuming you can rent that property out for $900 monthly. A cash flow positive investment is more visible now.

In this simple real estate investing scenario, you can hold onto that property for 10, 20 years and reap great financial benefits. Why could this make sense for people? It works because, outside of general maintenance on the properties, you're getting someone else to pay for your mortgage. And, when it comes time for you to sell, you could be the beneficiary of a big windfall, if property values increase over time.

Of course, what you have planned doesn't work always. That's what happened during the last two years. People who ventured in real estate investing, bought up properties at such high values. Then, market crisis happened. The value of the properties has gone downhill and people couldn't re-finance or carry any more loan payments.

It could happen to anyone. "It" being the drastic change of fortunes. Not anyone can just go into real estate investing haphazardly. "Location, location, location," an old phrase that is especially true in real estate investing. It's important to make sure to "pencil in" the numbers. If it's convincing that you're going to take a cash flow negative property and hold on for property value increase, think again. Those may never come back again. "Those" being the market.

This is why it's extremely important to know what you are doing in real estate investing. There are several companies, gurus, etc. who purport to tell you how, what, when and how much. Many of the gurus are fly-by-night scammers. They will try to sell you a bill of goods. You should make sure to look at gurus who have been around a while and have a loyal following. Some examples of these people are Donald Trump, Robert Allen or Carlton Sheets. Basically, they've been there, done that. - 23221
